Travel Woes

Man oh man, what a rough weekend. I had to travel up to Santa Rosa CA for a work project this past weekend.
After a not to successful event Sat :( I went to my hotel and crashed.
Sunday I had to get up at 5:00am to catch my flight back to LA. Santa Rosa is just a small airport, and the plane was one of those smaller two row planes. Well, the "check engine" light was on I guess, and they couldn't get it to shut off. Flight canceled...
Because it's a small airport,… Continue

Building a Sober Community

Hello everyone.
I just wanted to post a little update on Sober Village and how it's going. Building a sober community is sometimes more difficult than I thought. Easier in someways, but harder as well. When I began building Sober Village I thought that if I just provided a place for sober people to chat with each other, discuss their sobriety, and maybe have some online 12 step meetings, they would just flock here in droves. ha… Continue

New Features and Community for Sober Village

Ok everyone,
I've been burning some of the midnight oil to get the site up and running. I've been working a lot on the community functions of the site. mainly things like the chat room and forum.
I've added a section the forum for daily check ins. Sometimes, it can help to just drop a line a few times a week to let everyone know how your are doing in your sobriety. That's the whole point of the community. You can find the forum here -… Continue

Hello, we are a Village, we are small and growing slowly, but we have a recovery centre here, holidays and camping faclitites too, but only for people that have recovery or want recovery. We have over 40 years between all of us!! SO FAR !!

Hello, I work at Sober Village in Spain, its seperate to this forum but I hope we can share our comments and stuff in sobriety!! we are a village of people that live in Spain and we use the 12 step recovery to help others!!
