I like this concept of Sober Village. One thing I know about recovery is that there is no way I could do this without meetings or the fellowship. Can you imagine sitting at home alone with the Big Book, working the steps without discussing them with anyone, and being able to stay sober and gain some sobriety?? I can’t. How would I have heard things like, “don’t drink no matter what”; don’t leave before the Miracle happens” or any of the other quips and quotes we have in AA and NA. …See More

starting off...
I've had a tough few weeks, and what has pulled me out of it has been ACTION, which gave me a drop more FAITH, which then allowed me the STRENGTH to contact others in RECOVERY, which let me be of SERVICE, and then I had more HOPE, which then lead to more ACTION.....which gave me a bucket more FAITH which then......well, you get the picture I think!!!!!See More
